I know that the life of a car depends on how well it is kept and maintained, but how long do '96 Buick Regals last on average, with regular oil changes and fluid checks?|||The Regal is one of the few GM vehicles of the 90s with a good reputation for reliability.
The average car lasts 12 years. I'd expect the typical Regal to do slightly better than that.
Also, don't worry TOO much about it. Any car that's lasted 11 years, even if it's a model with a bad reputation, cannot be one of the worst examples of that model. It survived any temptation to junk it, and any problems it DID have have probably been fixed. So long as it isn't known for recurring issues, it'll be fine.
If you're okay with driving a boring mid-sized land barge, you could do worse.|||One way to find out is to look and see how many are on the road. I have never been much of a fan of the newer buicks. After 78 they really just have not produced a good car. It would be 11 years old now so assumeing you found one that was well taken car of and has around 100,000 miles on it. You may be able to get another 50,000 out of it. that's good for about another 4 or 5 years.|||well me friend had one and his power steering went out after he had it for 2 months with just about 110000but i give that car till 135000 or more|||DEAR SIR
