Is the all wheel drive and the transmission all one unit in the Buick Rendezvous?

I just purchased a 2004 buick, they said the tranny was rebuilt. Now 2 weeks later they are telling me the AWD is shot. Are they all in one or can one be rebuilt without the other?|||If what your talking about is basically the transfer case,the unit will unbolt from the transmission to be replaced or rebuilt separately. The rear differential is another unit that may be causing trouble but it can only be replaced,it is not rebuildable. Hopefully you got some kind of warranty,say 3 months/3000 miles.|||nope as part kind of if transmission is shot its shot transmision is what makes it move all wheel drive means all wheel pull at same time no transmission no pulling there is other parts beside transmission that might be bad but cant say its all wheel drive that is a type of car like four wheel drive or a jeep = all wheel drive
