What kind of engine does a 89' buick century and 89' buick regal have?|||I think '89 Century's only came with a 3.3 OHV 12 valve V6 that produced 160 horsepower and 185lb ft or torque.|||Previous answer is dead on on the Century. The Regal came with either the 2.8L V6 or the optional 3.1L V6. Starting in 1990, the 3.1L became the standard engine and the 3.8L V6 was the optional engine.
